Garlic & Herb Knots

Makes 8 knots


  • 1 ¾ cup self-raising flour
  • 1-2 tsp dried Italian herbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup EasiYo Greek Style Natural Yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp parmesan, powdered
  • 1-2 tsp parsley, chopped


Pre-heat oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.

In a large bowl, combine flour, dried herbs, salt and yogurt and mix well. Use your hands to combine mixture into a ball of dough.

On a clean, floured surface divide dough in half and then each portion in half again, until you have 8 portions.

Roll each portion out into a sausage shape using your hands. Take each end of the rolled dough, tying into a knot. You can tuck each end in or leave them as is. Space each knot out on the prepared tray.

Combine butter and garlic and using a pastry brush, dab the tops of each knot.

Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden on top.

Remove from the oven and brush with any remaining garlic butter.

Serve with a sprinkle of parmesan and chopped parsley.
