Yogurt Fruit Slice




  • 125g butter
  • 3/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 1 1/2 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup EasiYo Natural Yogurt
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • icing sugar to decorate



  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Grease a baking tray (18 x 28cm).
  • In a large bowl cream the butter and the sugar until light and fluffy.  Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
  • Sift the flour and baking powder and add to the egg mixture.
  • Gently fold in the yogurt.
  • Pour half the mixture into the greased baking tray. 
  • In a separate bowl, mix the raising and cinnamon together.  Sprinkle over the mixture in the tray.
  • Cover with the other half of the mixture and bake for 40-50 minutes.
  • Allow to cool, then cut into squares and sprinkle with icing sugar.
